Every parsha has a moment where it turns. Dovid Kaplan finds it, and hands it to you before you have finished reading. Fifty-four pieces from the shiurim he has given at Yeshivas Ohr Somayach since 1987.
54 copies carry a number, printed on the leaf at the front — 54 in total, across both bindings, not 54 of each. Reserved copies are 10% off, and you may add a dedication or inscription at no charge. The sefer itself is not limited — the numbered copies are.
Delivery is calculated for your country at checkout, and shown before you pay. We ship worldwide.

The contents, and the first piece in full — Bereishis, Just Do It. Tap a page to read it.
Read the same pages as a PDF — it opens in your browser, and it prints.
A page at the front of your copy, set in the book’s own type — lizecher nishmas, a name for a refuah, a gift for a chosson and kallah, or simply your family’s name in the sefer. Write the words at checkout and we set them by hand.
Free, and entirely optional — leave it blank and your copy comes plain and numbered. Available only on reserved copies.
Send us the sefer, the binding and your address. We reply with a link to pay, and set your dedication from your message.
Fifty-four pieces, one for every parsha of the year.
These are the parsha shiurim he has given at Yeshivas Ohr Somayach since 1987, set down the way he says them: a story you did not see coming, a question worth asking, and an answer you can do something with.
The sources are the classic ones — Rashi, the Medrash, the Gemara, the Chofetz Chaim — brought the way a rebbe brings them when he is talking to you rather than lecturing at you.
Bereishis, Just Do It. Vayeira, The Ultimate Test. Shemini, The Very Same Calf.
He is careful to say that almost none of it is his own chiddush. It is the mefarshim; the work was teaching them. Short enough for the Shabbos table, long enough to stay with you.
Dovid Kaplan is a senior lecturer at Yeshivas Ohr Somayach in Yerushalayim and a mashgiach ruchani at Yeshivas Bais Yisroel. He is the author of the Impact! series.
